I was blessed to grow up on a small farm just outside of Belden, Nebraska. My parents are Craig and Luann Bartels; they have supported me in everything that I have done thus far in my life. I have a twin brother, Lukas and two younger sisters, Katie and Mary. My experiences on the farm taught me about the value of family and developing a strong work ethic.
I attended kindergarten through 12th grade in Randolph, Nebraska; I had a total of 38 students in my graduating class. During high school, I participated in football, wrestling, and track. I was also a member of the Future Farmers of America. After high school I chose to serve my country in the Air Force; I was stationed in Minot, North Dakota for 6 years. I chose to separate from the Air Force after 6 years and attend Trinity Bible College. My major was Physical Education & Biblical Studies. I graduated from Trinity Bible College in May 2014. I have a passion and desire to make an impact in the lives of the future generations. I believe that physical education is a vital part to a student's education. My goal is to show every student that passes through my classroom to be physically active for life. My field experiences have shown me that you have to be prepared for anything and be flexible in all situations. I have been blessed with many amazing opportunities in my life. I hope to coach wrestling and football in the future. Physical education is something that is very important to me; I believe that it needs to be taken more seriously in schools today. I am excited to make an impact in future generations and to see students live a physically active life! |
